Tankersley Manor Wedding Photography

We recently photographed a beautiful wedding at Tankersley Manor Hotel & Spa weddings page, a historic 17th-century venue in South Yorkshire that blends classic charm with modern comfort. The couple chose to get ready in the elegant suites, and the natural light in the bridal prep shots was outstanding.

The ceremony took place in the Crook Barn with its exposed stone walls and wooden beams providing rich texture and timeless atmosphere for portraits. Later, we used the private gardens and woodland edge as backdrops, capturing relaxed candid moments and sweeping couple portraits with depth and variety.

The reception in the Tankersley Suite offered roomy spaces, ornate chandeliers, and a layout that made wedding reportage smoother. On-site accommodation meant guests could stay overnight, reducing stress and enhancing evening photos.

For photographers, this venue delivers diverse shooting opportunities from prep to first dance, with plenty of character throughout the day.
