Paul Walker Photography is Paul Walker, Greg Smith and Gunner. We are fun, friendly photographers who make your special day Extra Special. We bring laughter and sparkles to your wedding photography!
We have over 25 years' of experience photographing weddings. Between us, we photograph well over 150 weddings a year! We cover Yorkshire, Lancashire and Greater Manchester as standard.
Alongside Paul and Greg, the team includes three further professional photographers, giving us a great capacity at busy times and also always having a back-up photographer for complete peace of mind.

Meet the Team
Founder
Paul Walker
Paul is a huge photography buff and a Club DJ.
Paul was born and bred in Huddersfield and had an interest in photography and design from an early age. He studied Graphic Design and Photography at Batley Art College in the late 80s and has used both disciplines ever since in his career. He was a founding Director of Smile Images in the early noughties, specialising in wedding and portrait photography. Having dual experience of photography and graphic design has really opened up a niche market in wedding photography, as it enables him to use design and re-touching skills to great effect, allowing him to manipulate images to a whole new level of creativity. He's an active club DJ Listen here, loves walking his dog and exploring Real Ales!
Studio Manager / Lead Photographer
Greg Smith
Greg lives, breathes and sleeps photography.
Greg studied photography and film at the London College of Communication, under Raymond Durgnat. He has a great love of documentary photography, and often employs documentary approaches when photographing weddings. He first picked up a camera and started developing his own black & white images way back in the last Millennium! When he's not photographing or editing, he spends most of his time with his 2 children, or chasing his dog around a field.
Social Media Manager
Gunner
At just 12 months old, Gunner the English Springer Spaniel brings boundless enthusiasm (and equal amounts of chaos) to his role as Social Media Manager. His daily duties include photobombing shoots, testing the durability of camera straps, and ensuring no snack goes uninspected. With a talent for creating “viral moments” by simply existing, Gunner also specialises in morale boosting, unexpected zoomies, and quality-control sniff tests. When he’s not causing mild workplace panic, he can be found napping in the middle of high-traffic areas. A complete lunatic—but an essential part of the team.
