AI and Wedding Planning: What It's Good For (and What It's Not)

AI tools have quietly become part of how a lot of couples plan their weddings. According to Bridebook's 2026 UK Wedding Report, 68% of engaged couples said they'd trust AI to help with at least part of their wedding planning.

Where AI can genuinely help

For research, organisation and inspiration, AI tools can be a real time-saver - things like generating checklists, helping draft messages to suppliers, organising a guest list, or putting together mood boards and colour palettes. If it helps you feel more in control of the admin side of things, that's a good use of it.

Where it can't help

The one thing AI can't do is be there on your wedding day. Every wedding we photograph is real - real moments, real people, real light, captured as they happen. No amount of planning software changes what happens between the morning nerves and the last dance, and that's the part we care about most.

Our take

We're not against using helpful tools where they make sense - but when it comes to your photos, you're getting a real photographer who's there with you all day, not a filter or a generated image. That's not going to change.

Check our availability for your big day - the real one.
