A gothic wedding at The Arches Halifax

In the shadowed heart of The Arches at Dean Clough, I arrive as both witness and storyteller, my lens drawn to the quiet drama of stone and flame. This industrial cathedral, with its vaulted red-brick ceilings and iron bones, was once a mill, now reborn for weddings that refuse the ordinary.
Here, wedding photography becomes something deeper. Light seeps through the arches like a whispered secret, settling upon lovers who stand where industry once thundered. The space holds up to 300 souls, yet never feels crowded, only intimate, as if the walls themselves conspire to frame each fleeting glance.
I move quietly, capturing truth over pose. A hand trembles, a tear falls, a laugh echoes beneath the beams. This is wedding photography at The Arches Dean Clough, where every image feels carved from shadow, memory, and a touch of the eternal.
